a mediocre idea, very basic execution

I have been trying for a few minutes to think of a time when this app would be particularly useful, and carry out its single, very specific task better than any alternative that comes to mind - so far I havent come up with anything.

In terms of actual functionality, this app is -extremely- limited. The text you want to highlight has to fit within the aspect ratio of your phone, and you can only draw one height of highlight box. Once you have drawn a highlight box, it does not seem that you can edit it in any way, or even undo.

UPDATE: releasing a minor update, and getting a few people to write "good" reviews didnt help this app at all.
