Great idea. Flawed execution. Hold off until developer fixes major issues
Great idea for an app. Terrible execution. There has to be a way to easily readjust your selection. Currently you cant modify what you highlight. Your only option is to delete it and do it over, which is tedious and unnecessary. The camera function doesnt work properly either. Using it and framing something is pointless as it resizes it when you try to highlight. Theres no way to hide the controls which usually get in the way of what youre trying to highlight as well. Please fix these issues. You have a great simple concept here, but all the issues listed above make it unusable.
Good, needs work.
If your photo doesnt fit the size of your screen perfectly you cant see all edges. I work with square images a lot and this app would be perfect if I could zoom out and see the whole picture.
Poorly done
No zooming in or out, no scrolling, no help or instruction. Overall, not a very friendly app, very limited
Still not working right
Its basically unusable. Before when it used to work, I wouldve given it 4 stars. The buttons arent extremely intuitive, but it worked (past tense) well for its purpose. Now and for the past few months, each time I select a photo from my Camera Roll, its zoomed-in so far only approx. 15% of the photo is visible. Theres no way to zoom-out, and thus, its unusable. I liked it, but now Im deleting it.
I take a lot of Screenshots
A recipe. A quote. An address. This sort of thing. This works really well to just highlight the bit I need. To cover multiple lines you simply overlap the highlighted box with another and they combine until youve covered what you need. It makes it easy to show someone what you saw on a page without being as elaborate as Skitch. Just a quick: This is what I saw. One wonders about the level of bile in other reviews. I will use it often because I clip often. I use the Reader View to get rid of much clutter, but this focuses the item so the receiver doesnt have to guess.
